Kunda Gelato aims to celebrate the diverse heritages of East Africa and the Caribbean through innovative, high-quality gelato flavors served in a multi-sensory brand experience. By fusing cultures, Kunda enables discovery and human connection, while adding value to the community through ethical sourcing and relationships with local partners. Starting with Kigali in 2023, Kunda Gelato is now expanding to Nairobi in 2025 to share the love and African Dolce Vita

Kunda Lab—a research and development engine fully integrated in Kunda Foods, to scale innovation in food transformation, deepen storytelling through flavor, and equip growers, suppliers, producers and entrepreneurs with tools to reclaim economic and narrative power. Our goal is to create a transformation infrastructure, where value is added locally, tools are built from within the food system, and cultural ownership is preserved—not extracted.
